Ramallah-Ma'an- Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Amjad Barham discussed in his office today with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Palestine Renu Yadav ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, especially with regard to scholarships provided to Palestinian students. Barham briefed the ambassador on the conditions of the education sector in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip in light of the ongoing occupation aggression, touching on the most prominent efforts made by the ministry to provide relief to education in Gaza; despite all the challenges and obstacles. Barham stressed the strength of relations between the State of Palestine and India; especially in the field of education, praising India's role in providing annual scholarships to Palestinian students. For her part, Arya stressed the depth of relations between India and Palestine, affirming the continuation of cooperation with the ministry and continued support for the Pal estinian education sector. The meeting was attended by Assistant Undersecretary and Director General of Scholarships and Student Services Dr. Shadi Al-Helou, and Public Relations Officer at the Indian Embassy Mohammed Abu Shamsiya.
