Head of the "Free Patriotic Movement", MP Gebran Bassil, warned today against "involvement in schemes, the latest of which is sorting between the Lebanese and destroying their unity," saying, "We must face this project by confronting demographic transfer and embracing our people". He warned the international community that "if the Israeli occupation occurs, God forbid, it will legitimize every weapon outside the principle of the state." Bassil said: "It is time for the Lebanese to choose the interest of Lebanon first. We want our Lebanon of 10,425 square kilometers, so that its land does not become an arena for settling scores and its sons do not become border guards for anyone".
