Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Minister of Interior of the State. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior; Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs; and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF, attended the meeting. The Commander-in-Chief highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Kuwait, commending their historical cooperation in military and defence matters. He also acknowledged Kuwait's continuous support for Bahrain and its role in promoting joint Gulf and Arab initiatives.
