House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Tarcisio Costa, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries. Speaker Berri also received the new Belgian Ambassador to Lebanon, Arnout Pauwels, who came on a protocol visit upon assuming his new duties in the country. The visit was a chance to discuss the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as political and field developments in light of Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Talks also touched on the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Belgium.
