House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday received at the Second Presidency in Ain al-Tineh, the Apostolic Nuncio, Monsignor Paolo Borgia, with whom he discussed the general situation and the latest political and field developments, in addition to the repercussions resulting from Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon. Speaker Berri later met with Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, with whom he broached the current situation and developments, as well as the outcome of political contacts Berri also followed up on the country's security situation and the role of the security services at the current stage with Caretaker Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi. Berri later received in Ain El-Tineh, the Lebanese Democratic Party Head, former MP Talal Arslan, in the presence of former Minister, Saleh Al-Gharib, and Berri's Political Aid, MP Ali Hassan Khalil. The meeting took stock of the country's current general situation and the latest polit ical developments.
