Board of International Financial Centre of Oman Convenes Under Sayyid Theyazin’s Leadership

Hanoi:The Board of the International Financial Centre of Oman (IFC Oman), chaired by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, held a meeting with its members in attendance.

According to Oman News Agency, the Board discussed recent updates regarding the Centre's legislative, regulatory, and operational framework. The importance of ongoing efforts to boost the centre's investment appeal and foster a competitive business environment to attract investments and international financial institutions was emphasized.

The International Financial Centre of Oman was established under Royal Decree No. (8/2026) as part of Oman's strategic plan to diversify its economy. The Centre aims to enhance Oman's status as a global financial hub, attract capital, and support innovation.
