Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, on Wednesday continued his meetings with ambassadors of a number of permanent member states of the UN Security Council, regarding the extension of the mandate of "UNIFIL". In this framework, Minister Bou Habib met with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, and US Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, with whom he discussed specific points included in the text of the UNIFIL's mandate extension draft resolution, in blue, which France submitted to the Security Council. The draft resolution is scheduled to be discussed by the Security Council members this afternoon, Beirut local time, with a potential vote during the same session.
