Caretaker Minister of Industry, George Boujikian, on Thursday announced that following discussions with industrialists, they have reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring product availability and distribution in markets at pre-crisis prices. The Industry Minister further noted that production lines were operating at maximum capacity to prevent any shortages or interruptions in supply. Moreover, Boujikian urged industrialists to continue this responsible and nationalistic spirit, contributing to alleviating the suffering of citizens and navigating this challenging period with minimal damage and losses. He highlighted that industrialists have consistently demonstrated their dedication, sacrifices, and resilience in the face of economic shocks. During a meeting with Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam, Boujikian conveyed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of continued field efforts to curb and hold accountable hoarders, exploiters, and price manipulators to prevent excessive profits at the expe nse of the public.
