Muscat: Brazil secured a 2-1 victory over Egypt in a friendly at Huntington Bank Stadium, as both sides continued their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. According to Oman News Agency, Bruno Guimares opened the scoring for the five-time champions in the eighth minute. Egypt hit back through Mostafa Abdel Raouf - known as Ziko - in the 11th minute, before Endrick Felipe restored Brazil's lead in the 53rd minute to seal the win. Egypt will begin their World Cup campaign against Belgium on 15 June 2026, followed by Group Seven fixtures against New Zealand and Iran. Brazil open their Group Three schedule against Morocco, before facing Haiti and Scotland.
