London:The British Omani Society marked a significant milestone in its history by announcing the joint honorary patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Oman, and His Royal Highness Prince William, Prince of Wales. This announcement signifies a new chapter in the society's over fifty-year journey.

According to Oman News Agency, the society held a reception at Lancaster House in London to celebrate its 50th anniversary, known as the Golden Jubilee.

The society remains committed to fostering bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom, aiming to strengthen the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
