Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) today announced the auction results of the 72nd Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth RO 98,000,000. According to Oman News Agency, the 72nd GDB Issue received a significant response from investors, with applications totaling RO 173,416,500. The average yield was recorded at 4.75 percent, corresponding to an equivalent price of RO 100.000. The auction details highlighted that the highest yield reached 4.77 percent at an equivalent price of RO 99.910, while the lowest yield was 4.74 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.045. The 5-year Bond is set to be issued tomorrow and will mature on 5 November 2029, carrying a coupon rate of 4.75 percent per annum.
