Muscat: Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, received Dr. Mohamed Maliki Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Second Minister for Education of the Republic of Singapore, along with his delegation. This meeting was held in celebration of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Oman and Singapore.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on exploring cooperation opportunities across various fields. The Singaporean delegation emphasized their country’s experience in enhancing the business environment, which plays a critical role in attracting foreign investments. In response, the Omani representatives highlighted the national economic programs linked to Oman Vision 2040, identifying key sectors targeted for growth.
Both parties reiterated the importance of advancing bilateral relations. The session was also attended by the Charg© d’Affaires of Singapore’s embassy in Oman, along with several officials from both nations.
