The activities of the 'Developing Government Performance' conference kicked off today. The two-day event is organized by the Media Thought Institution in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour. The conference aims to contribute to enhancing the work environment in government units and to encourage innovation. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Sayyid Salim Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development. Further, the ceremony comes within the framework of augmenting the government apparatus' performance in boosting governance. It also focuses on supporting the decision-making progress.
