The message reads as follows: 'The Sultanate of Oman's celebration of Omani Women's Day, which falls on 17 October 17 every year, constitutes an expression of the care and attention accorded to women as they shoulder their responsibilities side by side with men in the country's comprehensive development process. 'The timely support provided by the State to women in Oman has had the greatest effect in helping them to professionally carry out their duties at all levels and in all sectors, including education, health and social care-in addition to women's notable role in representing the Sultanate of Oman in regional and international forums.
