North al batinah: The Ministry of Culture and Sports is conducting a 3-day program codenamed 'Tazeez' that seeks to consolidate public action undertaken by local teams in the governorates of North Al Batinah, A'Dakhiliyah, Al Buraimi, and Al Wusta. The program is funded by OQ Exploration and Production Company (OQEP).
According to Oman News Agency, Faris bin Mohammed Al Aufi, Director of the Youth Programs Department at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, stated that the program includes a package of specialized development activities focusing on building the institutional capacities of community teams.
Al Aufi mentioned that the program encompasses workshops and innovation labs aimed at enhancing the readiness of local teams to implement community initiatives and projects with a sustainable impact.
The program addresses training on administrative and financial planning, designing and implementing community initiatives, building partnerships, and enhancing institutional sustainability. The overall objective is to increase the efficiency of community action and develop its institutional practices, Al Aufi noted.
