Daba: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced the start of operations of Daba Border Checkpoint which connects the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The move comes within the framework of the security system plan to manage land, air and sea ports to facilitate movement and transportation.

According to Oman News Agency, the Daba Border Checkpoint is part of a strategic initiative to enhance connectivity and streamline travel between Oman and the UAE. The checkpoint is expected to improve the efficiency of cross-border travel and support the economic activities in the region. The initiative aligns with the broader objectives of both nations to bolster their bilateral relations and cooperation in various sectors.
