Manama: Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of Japan in Bahrain, in cooperation with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, aboard the Japanese military ship Murasame. Officials and heads of diplomatic missions in Bahrain attended the event. According to Bahrain News Agency, in his address, the Director-General highlighted the strong ties between Bahrain and Japan, reaffirming Bahrain's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Japan across various domains to serve shared interests. He commended Japan's pivotal role in maintaining regional maritime security through its contributions to joint naval forces. He expressed his best wishes to the newly formed Japanese government, and further progress and prosperity for Japan and its people.
