Manama, Mohammed Yousif Al Asam, General Director of Marine Resources at the Executive Authority of the Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE), received Jawad Ahmed Ali, President of the Sitra Fishermen's Association. The General Director highlighted the contribution of the association to protecting marine resources and supporting national efforts aimed at safeguarding fish stocks. He emphasised the SCE's commitment to strengthening cooperation and engagement with fishermen. The meeting also discussed topics related to fishing, the importance of supporting Bahraini fishermen, the role of associations in protecting fish resources, and achieving food security.
