Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, today took part in the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the Iranian Shura Council in Tehran. During the oathtaking ceremony, the Minister of Economy conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Iranian President, along with His Majesty's wishes of good health and wellbeing. He also conveyed His Majesty the Sultan's wishes of further progress to the friendly people of Iran. For his part, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian asked the Economy Minister to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan. He wished His Majesty the Sultan continued good health, wellbeing and a long life. He also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity. Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri attended the official dinner hosted by the Iranian President in honour of high-level delegations that participated in the swearing-in ceremony. During the ceremony, Al Saqri was accompanied by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, Ibrahim Ahmed Al Muaini, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Iran, and other officials.
