Ramallah - Ma'an - Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Amjad Barham met today with the Executive Director of the Qaddoumi Foundation Rana Diab to discuss ways to support the education sector, especially in light of the current circumstances in Palestine. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the Ministry and the Qaddoumi Foundation within the framework of adopting educational programs that contribute to improving the quality of education, benefiting from the Foundation's projects to serve students, especially in the Gaza Strip, and focusing on programs that are consistent with current priorities. In this context, the Minister addressed the overall current challenges and the need to institutionalize the relationship and employ available capabilities to serve the public and higher education sectors, and focus on vocational and technical programs and teacher training, praising the cooperation process between the Ministry and the Qaddoumi Founda tion. In turn, Diab reviewed the most prominent projects that the Qaddoumi Foundation is working on to support education in Gaza, including initiatives aimed at providing the necessary educational materials for students and teachers, and indicated that the Foundation is ready to provide possible support to ensure the resumption of education in the Gaza Strip. At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to develop a joint action plan to achieve the desired goals and launch new initiatives to serve education. Source: Maan News Agency
