Cairo, Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, received Fawzia Zainal, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League. The two sides discussed means to strengthen cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly in hospitality, archaeological excavations, restoration, and museology. They also emphasised the importance of boosting tourism exchange between the two countries. During the meeting, Fathy commended the strong Bahrain-Egypt relations and underscored the importance of promoting joint investments in the tourism sector. On her part, Zainal congratulated Fathy on his appointment and noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
