Muscat: On the advent of the Eid Al-Fitr 1447 AH, it has been decided that the Eid holiday for employees in the units of the State's Administrative Apparatus and other legal entities, as well as workers in private sector establishments, will commence on Thursday, 29th of Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to 19 March 2026. The holiday will end on Monday, 23 March 2026, with official work being scheduled to resume on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry of Labor clarified that employers may require their employees to work on the aforementioned days if necessary, provided that they are compensated for this holiday in accordance with the regulations in force.
