The Electricité du Liban Corporation announced in a statement this afternoon: 'In the latest series of repeated attacks by the Israeli enemy on the corporation's networks and installations, on Saturday night, 07/13/2024, the Marjayoun power plant was targeted with several artillery shells, which led to severe damage that extended to its tansformers, cells, and high-voltage networks which are subsequently out of service." The corporation is currently assessing the technical status of the power plant to take appropriate measures. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
