The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has issued a ministerial decision to form the Omani Hajj Mission 1446 AH. The decision stipulated that Ahmed Ali Al Kaabi shall be the Deputy Chief of the Mission for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Abdulaziz Masoud Al Ghafri as Deputy Chief of the Mission for the Affairs of Pilgrims and Hajj Campaigns. The decision was in implementation of Royal Decree No. 6/99 defining the powers of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs and approving its organizational structure, and the Civil Service Law issued under Royal Decree No. 120/2004 and the Executive Regulations of the Civil Service Law issued under Civil Service Council Decision No. 9/2010, Ministerial Decision No. 236/2004 promulgating the system of forming Omani Hajj mission and determining their competencies. The Omani Hajj Mission lends support to pilgrims and assists them when performing Hajj rituals. Source: Oman News Agency
