MUSCAT: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has announced the initiation of 'Year of the Employee 2025' during its annual meeting, which focused on evaluating the outcomes of the preceding 'Year of the Mosque' program.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting, presided over by Labour Minister Dr. Mahad Said Ba'owain, featured discussions led by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs. Al Maamari underscored the pivotal role that employees play in enhancing the Ministry's performance and in pursuing its strategic goals. He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to creating a work environment conducive to innovation and skill development among its workforce.
Dr. Khalil Hamad Al Busaidi, Legal Adviser at the Ministry, highlighted the achievements and objectives reached in recent years. Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Kaabi, Director General of Endowments, Funds, Mosque Construction, and Quran Schools, presented a detailed overview of the mosques sector's outcomes and its future initiatives. The Ministry plans to introduce 19 new electronic services related to mosques, prayer halls, and Quran schools, further advancing its digital transformation efforts.
