Ramallah - Ma'an - The Energy and Natural Resources Authority announced on Tuesday that the power line F11, which supplies the central region of the Gaza Strip, will be re-operated in the coming days. The Energy Authority indicated in a statement issued by it that it had worked in cooperation with the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company for two weeks to temporarily repair the destroyed line on the Palestinian side, about 4 km long, so that electricity would be supplied to the central desalination plant in Deir al-Balah on an ongoing basis, which will be able to produce 20 thousand cubic meters per day, which will help provide clean drinking water to citizens. She noted that she is cooperating with international bodies to pressure the Israeli occupation to restore electricity to all remaining lines, to ensure the provision of electricity to citizens and all vital facilities. The Energy Authority thanked all partners who contributed to the completion of this project, especially the Water Authority, the Coa stal Municipalities Authority, UNICEF, as well as the Energy Authority and Gaza Electricity Distribution Company crews who worked to build the line during the aggression, risking their lives.
