Muscat: The Entrepreneurship Seminar, which kicked off today in Muscat, discussed means of enhancing partnerships between the public and private sectors to promote entrepreneurship. The event was held under the patronage of Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. It aimed to exchange experiences between private higher education institutions in the field of entrepreneurship.
According to Oman News Agency, the seminar sought to encourage private higher education institutions to ink agreements and strike cooperation partnerships with other institutions in the field of entrepreneurship. During the event, various working papers were presented on entrepreneurship in the Sultanate of Oman, focusing on strategies to overcome the challenges of the labour market and Omani geography to achieve Oman Vision 2040. Additionally, insights were shared on the Algerian experience in entrepreneurship and the role of transformational training in activating entrepreneurship.
