European shares were largely steady today ahead of key inflation data for the region later in the day. The pan-European STOXX 600 (.STOXX), was steady at 522.97 after it logged its worst day in over a week yesterday (Monday). Tech stocks (.SX8P), opens new tab rose 0.5 percent, while Energy stocks (.SXEP), opens new tab lost 5 percent. Eurozone Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) data for September is due out this afternoon. This will include the PMI indicators for the industrial sector of the Eurozone, as well as for Germany, France, Italy, and the UK. Source: Oman News Agency
