Muscat: European stock indices opened mixed today, amid caution in the markets as renewed tensions in West Asia pushed oil prices and government bond yields higher.
According to Oman News Agency, in the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange fell by 0.05 percent, while Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange declined by 0.20 percent. Meanwhile, Britain's FTSE 100 index in London rose by 0.09 percent, while Italy's Milan Stock Exchange index fell by 0.38 percent.
