Executive Committee of the Organization: The unity, steadfastness and awareness of our people will foil the occupation’s projects and schemes

Ramallah - Ma'an - The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization stressed in its meeting held today, Monday, the priority of confronting the occupation, genocide and ethnic cleansing against our people, by strengthening national unity and consecrating it popularly and nationally. The Executive Committee stressed that the dangerous escalation of attacks, invasions and siege taking place in various governorates of the West Bank, and the occupation's special campaign against cities, camps and villages of the West Bank, including Jerusalem, complements the continuation of the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and is directed towards one goal: to terrorize our people and deny their legitimate national rights to the independence of their Palestinian state and their legitimate rights to return. She stressed that it is a frenzied attempt to displace our people and impose a reality of ethnic cleansing and "transfer" on their existence extending across their homeland, and it is a conspiracy that will be foiled by the unity, steadfastness and awareness of our people in adhering to and steadfastness on their land and in their unified confrontation with the occupation. The committee said that despite the Arab, Islamic and international failure to stop the crimes of the occupation and to implement the decisions of international and regional institutions and organizations, our people's adherence to their rights and to strengthening their national unity is sufficient to correct this failure and restore these parties to their role and their capabilities that are being confiscated by the arrogance of the occupation and the protection of the United States of America in all international forums. She added that the expansion of the occupation's aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip, by targeting cities and camps in Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, Tubas, Qalqilya, Hebron, Jericho and others, and in Jerusalem, and the continued destruction of infrastructure, demolition of homes, bombing by aircraft, preventing the en try of relief supplies, the siege and the increase in settler attacks, which have been condemned as war crimes and crimes against humanity, requires activating all efforts to follow up and hold the occupying state accountable and issuing actual arrest warrants in the International Criminal Court against its leaders. The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization stressed that our people will inevitably thwart the plans to liquidate their national cause and the plans for displacement, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank, including Jerusalem. It will also thwart attempts to eliminate Palestinian representation, and will strengthen this representation through the broadest national unity within the framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. The Executive Committee decided to move at all levels, starting with strengthening the state of popular unity in the villages, camps and cities in confronting the occupation and c alling for the formation and strengthening of popular committees, in addition to political and international action at all levels to confront the occupation's plans and the continuation of its aggression against our people, including urgent action with the countries of the world and the Arab and Islamic countries, stressing that our people, who pay blood and make great sacrifices in defense of their rights and the Arab and Islamic nations and the free people of the world, will remain committed to their unity on the ground, their steadfastness and their valiant resistance in confronting the occupation and the settler gangs by all available means, whatever the cost. The Executive Committee saluted the members of our prisoner movement in the occupation's prisons and detention centers, and stressed the need to follow up on its decisions to defend them and work with international institutions and organizations to hold accountable the daily violations against them.
