Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs met with a delegation from the United States Congress. The meeting reviewed the historical and strategic partnership between the Kingdom and the US, which is based on the solid foundations of respect and mutual keenness between the two countries to develop them in various domains to reach the desired goals. The minister and the delegation also discusssed regional and international interests. Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations, and Salman Hassan Al Jalahma, Chief of American Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
