They discussed historical Bahraini-Spanish relations, and ways to develop cooperation to further serve common interests. Views were exchanged regarding the developments in the regional situation, the war in the Gaza Strip, and the Arab and international efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire, releasing hostages, protecting civilians, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid, and reducing tensions and escalation, to maintain regional security and stability and support efforts for comprehensive peace in the region.
