Manama, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani , Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone call with Dr. Ayman Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan. During the call, the two sides highlighted the historical Bahrain-Jordan relations and means to strengthen cooperation in various sectors. They also discussed efforts to further enhance coordination and consultation between the two countries, in light of the current regional developments for the benefit of the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on the Arab and international efforts to halt the war in the Gaza strip and its repercussions on regional security and stability. They also highlighted the efforts aimed at easing tension and escalation in the region. Source: Bahrain News Agency
