Gaborone: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, met with Dr. Phenyo Butale, Minister of International Relations of the Republic of Botswana. The meeting took place within the framework of the state visit paid by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Botswana.
According to Oman News Agency, the two ministers explored ways to enhance bilateral relations, build upon existing cooperation, and leverage the momentum generated by His Majesty's visit to develop mutual interests and expand economic partnerships, particularly in the fields of investment, energy, and mining. This collaboration aims to support the development priorities in both countries.
The meeting also emphasized the need for continued coordination and follow-up between relevant entities and the exchange of visits between officials to transform cooperation opportunities into mutual benefits. On the political front, the two ministers discussed a range of regional and international issues of common concern.
