Foreign Minister meets with American Jewish Committee members

New York, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with the American Jewish Committee (AJC), headed by Ted Deutch, the CEO of the Committee, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between Bahrain and the AJC to promote regional peace, security and stability, and to encourage the values of tolerance and human coexistence. They also exchanged views on the latest political and security developments in the region and their impact on international peace and security. Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to US, and Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al Ansari, Director General of the Ministry's Affairs, attended the meeting.
