Following a meeting on Monday with House Speaker, Nabih Berri, at Ain al-Tineh, Marada Movement leader, Sleiman Frangieh, confirmed Berri's continued support for his presidential candidacy. "Speaker Berri remains supportive of my candidacy. Some have surrendered before the battle even started, but let's wait for the battle and its outcome," Frangieh stated. The Marada Movement Leader emphasized that if any faction in Lebanon falls, the entire country loses. "What matters most is that our nation emerges victorious. There is no president who can satisfy everyone, but we need a legitimate, national, and Arab leader who protects the resistance,' he said. Frangieh further highlighted that the priority is to end the Israeli aggression and ensure Lebanon's unity. "What is crucial is that Lebanon emerges united from this crisis, and in the coming days, it will be clear that events will favor Lebanon, not the Israeli enemy," he concluded.
