Tulkarm - Ma'an - The masses of our people in Tulkarm Governorate bid farewell to the body of the martyr Samir Abdel Rahim Amar (55 years old) on Tuesday evening, in the Shuweika suburb north of the city. The funeral procession set off from the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital, amidst chants of Takbeer and angry national slogans denouncing the crimes of the occupation and demanding that it be held accountable for its ongoing massacres against our Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza. The martyr's body was transported by ambulance to his home in the Dhahra area in the suburb, for his family to say their last farewells to him. Then they took him to the old Shuwaika Mosque to pray over him, before burying him in the Al-Fuqaha Cemetery. The martyr Amar died this afternoon as a result of his critical injury from the occupation forces' bullets to the chest near the racist separation and expansion wall west of the village of Al-Jaroushiya, adjacent to the Shuweika suburb. He was transferred by a Red Crescent ambulance to the hospital, which announced his death. Source: Maan News Agency
