Gaza - Ma'an - The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced today, Monday, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, the implementation of the operation that took place yesterday evening, Sunday, in Tel Aviv. The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that "the fedayeen operations inside will return to the forefront as long as the occupation's massacres, the displacement of civilians, and the continuation of the assassination policy continue." After investigating the explosion that took place in Tel Aviv yesterday, Sunday, in which a 50-year-old man was killed and another 33-year-old was moderately injured, the Israeli police decided that the explosion was a "hostile attack." The Hebrew newspaper, Israel Hayom, said that the perpetrator, who was killed as a result of the explosion of the bomb he was carrying, was a Palestinian from Nablus. The Shin Bet participated in the investigation into the truck explosion in Tel Aviv. According to the Israeli poli ce, the truck explosion in southern Tel Aviv was caused by an explosive device. Israeli reports stated that the person who was killed was carrying an explosive device that he tried to plant near or on the truck, and the bomb exploded on him, killing him instantly.
