Channel 12 Israel quoted officials in Tel Aviv as saying that for the first time, Hamas' response allows progress, and there is a basis for launching negotiations. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said Mossad received Hamas's response from mediators regarding the hostage deal.
