Jericho - Ma'an - The Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, conveyed the greetings and congratulations of President Mahmoud Abbas to the outstanding students who succeeded in the high school exams in the Jericho and the Jordan Valley Governorate, stressing President Mahmoud Abbas' support and encouragement for them to continue their academic education. This was during the honoring ceremony held by the governorate in the conference hall at the governorate headquarters, with the support of the Bank of Palestine. In the presence of the region commander, representatives of the security and police forces, the Director of Education, the Fatah Movement region in the governorate, the Chamber of Commerce, the Teachers Union, the Teachers Movement Office, and Al-Quds Open University. The Governor expressed his pride and appreciation for the outstanding students, and that by arming them with knowledge and science, they are the strategic and logistical reserve for building the Palestinian sta te, the state of democracy and institutions, with Jerusalem as its capital. Dr. Hamayel congratulated the students and their parents on this distinguished achievement, wishing them further success in their academic and professional lives. In turn, Bank of Palestine representative, Rabie Duweikat, stressed the bank's keenness to support education and outstanding students, noting that this initiative comes within the framework of its social responsibility. For his part, the Director of Education, Amjad Al-Khudairi, praised the efforts made by the Governor to support the educational process and encourage students to excel. He also commended the Bank of Palestine's initiative to support this celebration, stressing the importance of the partnership between the public and private sectors in serving the community.
