Muscat: The Health Sector's Recruitment Governance Committee convened today to evaluate and enhance Omanization indicators within the sector. The meeting concentrated on mechanisms to boost the employment of Omani nationals and the contribution of the "Tawteen" platform in realizing these employment objectives. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting took place at the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) and was presided over by Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, OMSB Executive President and Chairperson of the Health Sector Recruitment Governance Committee. A key outcome of the meeting was the approval to announce 16 positions for Omani dentists within the government sector. Additionally, the committee underscored the importance of implementing a strategy to activate self-employment opportunities across various domains of the health sector, aiming to further support the localization efforts.
