Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) commended the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Kingdom's youth and sports sectors. This followed HH Shaikh Khalid's directives to the GSA to activate the Golden Bank initiative, a key project introduced by His Majesty the King. HH Shaikh Khalid underscored the initiative's lasting positive impact on the youth and sports sectors, benefitting both the present and future generations. HH Shaikh Khalid emphasised that documenting Bahrain's achievements in youth and sports is a shared responsibility. This initiative will ensure the detailed preservation of Bahrain's sports and youth accomplishments, passing this legacy on to future generations, reflecting the Kingdom's prominence, HH Shaikh Khalid added. The GSA has taken the necessary steps to move forward with the Golden Bank project, including the development of a comprehensive website.
