Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the government's efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, during the commemoration of Ashoora. His Majesty commended the preparations and provision of services required for this occasion, which remains as one of most prominent manifestations of religious freedoms and plurality in the Kingdom of Bahrain over centuries. His Majesty valued the coordinated efforts of government bodies, highlighting the provision of security and community services and the suport to rituals to ensure they were observed freely and comfortably. His Majesty also recognised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, the Jaafari Endowments Council, scholars, clerics, heads of matams, supervising committees, and volunteer field teams. Additionally, His Majesty appreciated the awareness and national responsibility shown during the commemoration and expressed appreciation for the meticulous organisation. This year' s Ashoora commemoration was marked by high levels of discipline and organisation, underscoring Bahrain's openness and cohesion as a harmonious and peaceful society, His Majesty said.
