Manama, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the new Hijri Year 1446. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah highlighted the significance of Prophet Mohammad's migration (Hijrah), noting its role in establishing the principles of citizenship, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect as laid out in the Constitution of Medina. He emphasised Islam's unifying message that promotes cooperation, respects diversity, and guarantees religious freedom. He noted the global community's efforts to foster peace and coexistence to counter violence, racism, and hatred.
