Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), at Al Sakhir Palace. His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of HM the King; Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander; Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Guard Special Force Commander; and His Highness Colonel Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, were present. During the meeting, HM the King was briefed on the future plans to develop all weaponry and units of the BDF. HM King Hamad expressed his appreciation and pride in all the BDF members for their unwavering commitment to fulfilling their duties with sincerity, contributing to the security of the nation and its citizens, and the stability of the region. His Majesty highlighted their dedicatio n to the national duties, which have been demonstrated in numerous tasks entrusted to them. HM the King also commended the regional and international sports achievements of the BDF and noted that these accomplishments are part of the Kingdom's various sports accomplishments, within the framework of the comprehensive development process in all domains.
