Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a call from His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, the President of the French Republic. The two leaders exchanged views on regional and international topics of mutual interest. HE President Macron expressed interest in the initiative proposed by His Majesty the King during the Arab summit to hold an international conference for peace in the Middle East, aimed at ensuring a comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian cause in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy. HM the King expressed his thanks and appreciation to the French President for the interest and support of the initiative. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's commitment to further develop the historical ties and cooperation with France in various fields, and to work together to further promote security and peace in the region and the world.
