Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a letter from His Excellency Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, in response to His Majesty's congratulations on his appointment as Prime Minister. In the letter, HE the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King for his wishes. He also congratulated His Majesty on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of his Accession. HE the Prime Minister highlighted the solid Bahrain-UK relations. HE said the cooperation between the two countries on defence, security, and prosperity, and people-to-people links, continued to go from strength to strength. His Excellency expressed his commitment to further expanding the strategic partnership between the two kingdoms and ensuring that bilateral relations between their governments and peoples continue to thrive.
