Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received a cable of thanks from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), in response to His Majesty's congratulations on the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of the SCW, coinciding with the Kingdom's celebrations of the silver jubilee of His Majesty's accession to the throne. HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of HM the King, which has been instrumental in the Council's mission. She highlighted that this support has enabled Bahraini women to play a fundamental and integral role in the nation-building process, contributing to the Kingdom's advancement and significant successes across various sectors. Her Royal Highness also affirmed the SCW's commitment to continuing its efforts under the guidance of His Majesty. She emphasised that the Council would launch further initiatives, programmes, and joint plans in clo se coordination with the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. These efforts will focus on developing policies, legislation, and services that address the needs of women, ensuring their ongoing progress and positive impact on national development. HRH Princess Sabeeka also highlighted the positive indicators of Bahraini women's advancement, noting that these achievements are a direct result of the strategic initiatives and comprehensive support provided by the leadership. Her Royal Highness concluded by expressing her commitment to continuing the work alongside Bahraini women to contribute to the Kingdom's future under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
