Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held a telephone conversation today during which they discussed the evolving situation in the region. According to Oman News Agency, the two leaders touched on the regional and international efforts being exerted to promote calm and de-escalation, in a manner that bolsters regional security and stability and ensures the safety of maritime navigation.
