Madrid: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain exchanged Orders and Commemorative Gifts at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, marking His Majesty the Sultan's visit to Spain.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan conferred the "Order of Al Said" upon King Felipe VI. Additionally, Queen Letizia was honoured with the "First Class Order of Oman," while several Spanish dignitaries received Omani royal orders.

In a reciprocal act, King Felipe VI awarded His Majesty the Sultan with the "Order of Isabella," Spain's highest royal decoration. This gesture signifies the strong bilateral relations between the two nations. Members of the official delegation accompanying His Majesty the Sultan were also honoured with royal decorations, alongside an exchange of commemorative gifts between the two parties.
